Ghūlastya said: “O best of the Bharatas, by bathing there they attain the highest joy. In that sacred ford called Śvāvillomāpanayana, O foremost of the Bharatas, learned Brahmins devoted to pilgrimage bathe and become greatly delighted. And, O king, by practicing prāṇāyāma at the Śvāvillomāpanayana-tīrtha, the best of the twice-born cast off their ‘bristling hairs’ (impurities), become pure in mind, and reach the supreme goal.”
