Pulastya’s Instruction

तीर्थ तत्र महाराज श्वाविल्लोमापहं स्मृतम्‌ । यत्र विप्रा नरव्याप्र विद्वांसस्तीर्थतत्परा:,महाराज! वहाँ श्वाविल्लोमापह नामक तीर्थ है। नरव्याप्र! उसमें तीर्थपरायण हुए विद्वान ब्राह्मण स्नान करके बड़े प्रसन्न होते हैं। भरतसत्तम! श्वाविल्लोमापनयनतीर्थमें प्राणायाम (योगकी क्रिया) करनेसे श्रेष्ठ द्विज अपने रोएँ झाड़ देते हैं तथा राजेन्द्र! वे शुद्धचित्त होकर परमगतिको प्राप्त होते हैं

tīrthaṃ tatra mahārāja śvāvillomapahaṃ smṛtam | yatra viprā naravyāghra vidvāṃsas tīrthatatparāḥ ||

Ghūlastya said: “O great king, there is a sacred ford there known as Śvāvillomapaha. O tiger among men, in that place learned Brahmins devoted to pilgrimage rites bathe and become greatly gladdened.”
