Tīrtha-yātrā: Phalaśruti and Sacred Geography from Lohitya to Prayāga

Pulastya’s Instruction

tvatprasādāt surāḥ sarve modantīhākuto bhayāḥ | evaṃ stutvā mahādevam ṛṣir vacanam abravīt |

“By your grace, all the gods dwell here in joy—how could there be any fear?” Having thus praised Mahādeva, the sage then addressed him again. The verse frames divine protection as the fruit of devotion and right praise: where Śiva’s favor is present, fear gives way to confidence and well-being.
