Pulastya’s Instruction
तत्र स्नात्वा नरो राजन् सोमलोकमवाप्नुयात् नरश्रेष्ठ! तत्पश्चात् उत्तम सोमतीर्थकी यात्रा करे। राजन! वहाँ स्नान करनेसे मानव सोमलोकको जाता है ।। ११४ $ ।। सप्तसारस्वतं तीर्थ ततो गच्छेन्नराधिप,नरेश्वर! इसके बाद सप्तसारस्वत नामक तीर्थकी यात्रा करे, जहाँ लोकविख्यात महर्षि मंकणकको सिद्धि प्राप्त हुई थी। राजन! हमारे सुननेमें आया है कि पहले कभी महर्षि मंकणकके हाथमें कुशका अग्रभाग गड़ गया, जिससे उनके हाथमें घाव हो गया। महाराज! उस समय उस हाथसे शाकका रस चूने लगा। शाकका रस चूता देख महर्षि हर्षावेशसे मतवाले हो नृत्य करने लगे
tatra snātvā naro rājan somalokam avāpnuyāt | naraśreṣṭha! tatpaścāt uttama-somatīrthakī yātrā kare | rājan! vahāṁ snāna karanese mānava somalokako jātā hai ||
Ghūlastya said: “O King, by bathing there a man attains the world of Soma. O best of men, thereafter one should undertake the pilgrimage to the excellent Soma-tīrtha. O King, bathing in that place is said to lead a person to Soma’s celestial realm.”
