Chapter 82
उष्य द्वादशरात्र तु नियतो नियताशनः । प्रदक्षिणमुपावृत्य जम्बूमार्ग समाविशेत्,वहाँ इन्द्रियसंयम और नियमित आहार करते हुए बारह रात रहकर तीर्थकी परिक्रमा करनेके पश्चात् जम्बूमार्गको जाय
uṣya dvādaśarātraṁ tu niyato niyatāśanaḥ | pradakṣiṇam upāvṛtya jambūmārgaṁ samāviśet ||
Having stayed there for twelve nights with disciplined conduct and regulated food, and after completing the sacred circumambulation in the proper (clockwise) manner, one should then enter the route called Jambūmārga. The passage emphasizes austerity, self-restraint, and reverent ritual movement as prerequisites for proceeding on a spiritually significant path.

Spiritual progress is framed as requiring restraint (niyama), control of the senses, and regulated living; only after disciplined observance and reverent circumambulation does one proceed onward.
