सौहार्द चापि मे त्वत्तो न कदाचित् प्रहास्यति । पुष्कर त्वं हि मे भ्राता संजीव शरद: शतम्,तेरे प्रति जो मेरा सौहार्द रहा है, वह कभी मेरे हृदयसे दूर नहीं होगा। पुष्कर! तू मेरा भाई है, जा, सौ वर्षोतक जीवित रह”
sauhārdaṃ cāpi me tvatto na kadācit prahāsyati | puṣkara tvaṃ hi me bhrātā saṃjīva śaradaḥ śatam ||
Bṛhadaśva said: “The bond of goodwill I have toward you will never, at any time, fade away from my heart. Puṣkara, you are truly my brother—go, and live for a hundred autumns.”
