Shloka 14

ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)

अहं च तव माता च राज्ञस्तस्य महात्मन: । सुते दशार्णाधिपते: सुदाम्नश्नारुदर्शने,'सुन्दरी! मैं और तुम्हारी माता दोनों दशार्णदेशके स्वामी महामना राजा सुदामाकी पुत्रियाँ हैं

ahaṃ ca tava mātā ca rājñas tasya mahātmanaḥ | sute daśārṇādhipateḥ sudāmnaḥ snārudarśane ||

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “I, and your mother as well, are daughters of that great-souled king Sudāman, the sovereign of Daśārṇa—O fair one of lovely appearance.”
