अक्षद्यूतप्रवेशः — Kali’s Entry and the Initiation of the Dice-Contest
विप्रियं ह्याचरन् मर्त्यों देवानां मृत्युमृच्छति । त्राहि मामनवद्याड्ि वरयस्व सुरोत्तमान्
vipriyaṃ hy ācaran martyo devānāṃ mṛtyum ṛcchati | trāhi mām anavadyāḍi varayasva surottamān |
Bṛhadaśva said: “A mortal who acts in a manner displeasing (to the gods) indeed meets death at the hands of the gods. Save me, O blameless lady; choose the best among the gods (as your boon).”
