Bhīmasena’s Discourse on Kāla, Resolve, and the Feasibility of Ajñātavāsa (भीमसेनस्य कालोपदेशः)

यत्‌ ते भयममित्रघ्न हृदि सम्परिवर्तते । तत्‌ ते5हं नाशयिष्यामि विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा,शत्रुहन्ता भारत! भीष्म, द्रोण, कृपाचार्य, कर्ण, अश्वत्थामा, धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन और दुःशासनसे भी जो तुम्हारे मनमें भय समा गया है, उसे मैं शास्त्रीय उपायसे नष्ट कर दूँगा

yat te bhayam amitraghna hṛdi samparivartate | tat te 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||

Vyāsa said: “O slayer of foes, whatever fear is churning within your heart, I shall dispel it for you by an action sanctioned by sacred rule.” In context, the sage reassures the hero that anxiety about powerful adversaries can be overcome not merely by force, but through dharmic, properly ordained means—restoring moral clarity and steadiness of purpose.
