ज्वलनार्कप्रतीकाशमधृष्यं पर्वतोपमम् । वृक्षमाश्रित्य तिष्ठन्तं ददर्श भरतर्षभ:
jvalanārkapratīkāśam adhṛṣyaṁ parvatopamam | vṛkṣam āśritya tiṣṭhantaṁ dadarśa bharatarṣabhaḥ ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: The bull among the Bharatas beheld him standing, having taken shelter by a tree—radiant like fire and the sun, unassailable, and towering like a mountain. The scene underscores the presence of a formidable, self-contained power: one whose inner discipline and strength make him difficult to confront, even when he stands alone in the forest.
