ततः पुरुषशार्दूली पानीयहरणे गतौ । तौ ददर्श हतौ तत्र भ्रातरौ श्वेतवाहन:,श्वेतवाहन अर्जुनने जल लानेके लिये गये हुए उन दोनों पुरुषसिंह भाइयोंको वहाँ मरे हुए देखा

Transliteration

tataḥ puruṣaśārdūlī pānīyaharaṇe gatau | tau dadarśa hatāu tatra bhrātarau śvetavāhanaḥ ||

Translation

Then Śvetavāhana (Arjuna), having gone to fetch water, saw there those two lion-like brothers lying slain. The scene underscores the peril of heedlessness and the moral gravity of approaching the unknown without discernment, as the consequences of error fall first upon one’s own kin.
