वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्‌ शुचिर्भूत्वा समाहित: । क्षणं च कुरु राजेन्द्र सम्प्रवक्ष्याम्यशेषत:,वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--राजेन्द्र! मैं सब बातें बता रहा हूँ। तुम सावधान, पवित्र और एकाग्रचित्त होकर सुनो और धैर्य रखो

vaiśampāyana uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan śucir bhūtvā samāhitaḥ | kṣaṇaṃ ca kuru rājendra sampravakṣyāmy aśeṣataḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “O King, listen with full attention—having become pure and composed in mind. And be patient for a moment, O best of kings; I shall relate everything to you completely.”
