Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment
सा समासाद्य सावित्री भर्तारमुपगम्य च । उत्सड्रेडस्य शिर: कृत्वा निषसाद महीतले,यह सुनकर सावित्री शीघ्र अपने पतिके पास आयी और उनका सिर गोदीमें लेकर पृथ्वीपर बैठ गयी
sā samāsādya sāvitrī bhartāram upagamya ca | utsaṅge 'sya śiraḥ kṛtvā niṣasāda mahītale ||
Hearing this, Sāvitrī quickly reached her husband. Drawing near, she placed his head upon her lap and sat down on the ground—an act of steadfast care and wifely devotion in the face of impending loss.
