नारद उवाच स्थिरा बुद्धिर्नरश्रेष्ठ सावित्र्या दुहितुस्तव । नैषा वारयितुं शक्‍या धर्मादस्मात्‌ कथंचन,नारदजी बोले--नरश्रेष्ठ] आपकी पुत्री सावित्रीकी बुद्धि स्थिर है। इसे इस धर्ममार्गसे किसी तरह हटाया नहीं जा सकता

nārada uvāca | sthirā buddhir naraśreṣṭha sāvitr̥yā duhitur tava | naiṣā vārayituṁ śakyā dharmād asmāt kathaṁcana ||

Narada said: “O best of men, your daughter Savitri possesses unwavering resolve. She cannot, in any way, be turned back from this path of dharma.”
