Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed
अथैनान् राघव: काले समानीयाभिपूज्य च
athainān rāghavaḥ kāle samānīyābhipūjya ca
Then, at the proper time, Rāghava had them brought together and, having duly honored them, proceeded in accordance with right conduct—showing that timely action joined with respectful reception is itself a mark of dharma.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed through two linked virtues: acting at the proper time (kāla) and honoring others appropriately (abhipūjā). Timely, respectful conduct is presented as a hallmark of righteous leadership and social order.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that Rāghava, at an appropriate moment, gathered certain people together and formally honored them—indicating a deliberate, courteous reception before the next action in the story.
