संसक्तो हर्म्यशिखरात्‌ तस्मात्‌ पुनरवापतत्‌ | लड्घयित्वा पुरीं लड़॒कां सुवेलस्य समीपत:,छतपर चढ़े हुए अंगद फिर उस महलके कँगूरेसे कूद पड़े और लंकापुरीको लाँधकर सुवेलपर्वतके समीप आ पहुँचे

Transliteration

saṁsaktaḥ harmyaśikharāt tasmāt punar avāpatat | laṅghayitvā purīṁ laṅkāṁ suvelasya samīpataḥ ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Having reached the summit of the palace, he again leapt down from that height; vaulting over the city of Laṅkā, he arrived near Mount Suvela—an image of fearless resolve and disciplined strength directed toward a righteous mission rather than mere display.
