Shloka 16

सभृत्यदारो राजेन्द्र सुग्रीवो वानराधिप: । इदमाह वच: प्रीतो लक्ष्मणं नरकुज्जरम्‌

sabhṛtyadāro rājendra sugrīvo vānarādhipaḥ | idam āha vacaḥ prīto lakṣmaṇaṁ narakujjaram ||

Markandeya said: “O best of kings, Sugriva—the lord of the monkeys—together with his attendants and household, being pleased, spoke these words to Lakshmana, that mighty man like a war-elephant among men.”
