Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

रामस्तु चतुरो मासान्‌ पृष्ठे माल्यवतः शुभे । निवासमकरोदू धीमान्‌ सुग्रीवेणाभ्युपस्थित:,परम बुद्धिमान्‌ श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने माल्यवान्‌ पर्वतकी सुन्दर घाटीमें वर्षकि चार महीनोंतक निवास किया। समय-समयपर सुग्रीव भी उनकी सेवामें उपस्थित होते रहते थे

rāmas tu caturō māsān pṛṣṭhe mālyavataḥ śubhe | nivāsam akarod dhīmān sugrīveṇābhyupasthitaḥ ||

Mārkaṇḍeya said: The wise Rāma made his dwelling for four months upon the auspicious slopes of Mount Mālyavat. During that time Sugrīva would repeatedly come and attend upon him in service. The passage highlights disciplined waiting and steadfast purpose: even a righteous hero, committed to dharma, endures delay with patience while allies uphold their duty through loyal attendance.
