Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

भ्राता चास्य महाबाहु: सौमित्रिरपराजित: । लक्ष्मणो नाम मेधावी स्थित: कार्यार्थसिद्धये,“उनके भाई महाबाहु सुमित्रानन्दन लक्ष्मणजी भी किसीसे परास्त होनेवाले नहीं हैं। उनकी बुद्धि बड़ी प्रखर है। वे श्रीरामके प्रत्येक कार्यकी सिद्धिके लिये उनके साथ रहते हैं

bhrātā cāsya mahābāhuḥ saumitrir aparājitaḥ | lakṣmaṇo nāma medhāvī sthitaḥ kāryārthasiddhaye ||

Markandeya said: “And his brother—mighty-armed, the son of Sumitrā, unconquered—named Lakṣmaṇa, keen in intellect, stands by him so that every purpose and undertaking may be brought to fulfillment.”
