कश्यपस्यात्मज: श्रीमानदित्या गर्भधारित: । पूर्णे वर्षसहस्रे तु प्रसूता गर्भमुत्तमम्,“उस समय वे कश्यपजीके तेजस्वी पुत्र हुए। अदितिदेवीने उन्हें गर्भमें धारण किया था। पूरे एक हजार वर्षतक गर्भमें धारण करनेके पश्चात् अदितिने एक उत्तम बालकको जन्म दिया
kaśyapasyātmajaḥ śrīmān adityā garbhadhāritaḥ | pūrṇe varṣasahasre tu prasūtā garbham uttamam ||
Bhīmasena said: “At that time a radiant son of Kaśyapa was born—one whom the goddess Aditi had carried in her womb. After completing a full thousand years of gestation, Aditi brought forth an excellent child.”
भीमसेन उवाच

Bhīma recounts a mythic birth: Aditi carries Kaśyapa’s radiant son for a thousand years and then gives birth to an exceptional child, emphasizing the child’s greatness and the marvel of the event.
