Vaiśampāyana said: Having accomplished that great deed, the heroic son of Mādrī—Nakula, a foremost chariot-warrior—reached Bhīmasena’s chariot; and upon arriving there, he found safety and relief. The verse underscores how courageous action, followed by seeking rightful protection among one’s allies, restores composure amid peril.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Courageous effort (mahat karma) should be paired with wise reliance on rightful allies; after fulfilling one’s duty, seeking shelter with one’s own side is not weakness but prudent conduct that preserves life and steadiness.
After performing a significant feat, Nakula—described as Mādrī’s son and a mahāratha—reaches Bhīma’s chariot and, once there, gains safety and calm, indicating a moment of regrouping and protection amid danger.
