Dvaītavana: Brahmaghoṣa, Rṣi-saṅgha, and Baka Dālbhyā’s Upadeśa to Yudhiṣṭhira

अयं कुरून्‌ रणे सर्वान्‌ हन्तुमुत्सहते प्रभु:

ayaṃ kurūn raṇe sarvān hantum utsahate prabhuḥ

Vaiśampāyana said: “This mighty lord is prepared to slay all the Kurus in battle.” The line underscores a grave moral tension: the readiness to pursue victory through total destruction of one’s own kin, a choice that tests the bounds of kṣatriya duty and the ethical cost of war.
