त्वमादिरन्तो भूतानां त्वमेव च परायणम् | परात्परतरं ज्योतिर्विश्वात्मा सर्वतोमुख:,“नीलकमलदलके समान श्यामसुन्दर! कमलपुष्पके भीतरी भागके समान किंचित् लाल नेत्रोंवाले पीताम्बरधारी श्रीकृष्ण! तुम्हारे वक्ष:स्थलपर कौस्तुभभणिमय आभूषण शोभा पाता है। प्रभो! तुम्हीं समस्त प्राणियोंक आदि और अन्त हो। तुम्हीं सबके परम आश्रय हो। तुम्हीं परात्पर, ज्योतिर्मय सर्वात्मा एवं सब ओर मुखवाले परमेश्वर हो
tvam ādir anto bhūtānāṁ tvam eva ca parāyaṇam | parātparataraṁ jyotir viśvātmā sarvatomukhaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “You are the beginning and the end of all beings, and you alone are their supreme refuge.
