Draupadī’s Rebuke of Jayadratha and Dhaumya’s Admonition (Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 252)

gacchadhvaṃ nagaraṃ sarve pūjyāś ca guravo mama |

Vaiśampāyana said: “All of you, go back to the city; my elders and teachers are to be honored. Hearing the words of his well-wishers, Duryodhana, angered, spoke in this manner: ‘I have no need of dharma, wealth, happiness, sovereignty, rule, or pleasures. Do not obstruct my resolve. Leave this place. My determination regarding fasting unto death is unwavering. You all go to the city and there continually show respect and hospitality to my revered elders and teachers.’”
