Transliteration

śatakratuś cābhiṣicya skande senāpatiṁ tadā

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then Śatakratu (Indra), having duly consecrated Skanda as the commander of the gods’ army, established him in that office—an act that affirms rightful appointment and disciplined leadership in the face of cosmic conflict.
