चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

आबद्धा त्रिपुरघ्नेन स्वयमेव यशस्विना । आगम्य मनुजव्याप्र सह देव्या परंतप,नरश्रेष्ठ परंतप युधिष्ठिर! साक्षात्‌ त्रिपुरनाशक यशस्वी भगवान्‌ शिव तथा देवी पार्वतीने वहाँ पधारकर स्कनन्‍्दके गलेमें विश्वकर्माकी बनायी हुई सोनेकी दिव्य माला पहनायी

ābaddhā tripuraghnena svayam eva yaśasvinā | āgamya manujavyāghra saha devyā parantapa, naraśreṣṭha parantapa yudhiṣṭhira! sākṣāt tripuranāśaka yaśasvī bhagavān śiva tathā devī pārvatīne vahāṁ padhārakara skandake galemeṁ viśvakarmākī banāyī huī sone kī divya mālā pahanāyī |

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “O tiger among men, O scorcher of foes—best of men, Yudhiṣṭhira! The glorious Lord Śiva himself, the direct destroyer of Tripura, came there together with the Goddess Pārvatī. Then they placed upon Skanda’s neck a radiant, divine golden garland, fashioned by Viśvakarmā.”
