स तूत्थाय महाबाहुरुपसान्त्व्य च तान्‌ जनान्‌ | भधनुर्विकृष्य व्यसृजद्‌ बाणान्‌ श्वेते महागिरौ,उन महाबाहुने उठकर उन सब प्राणियोंको सान्त्वना दी और महापर्वत श्वेतपर खड़े खड़े धनुष खींचकर बाणोंकी वर्षा प्रारम्भ कर दी

sa tūttthāya mahābāhur upasāntvya ca tān janān | dhanur vikṛṣya vyasṛjad bāṇān śvete mahāgirau ||

Then the mighty-armed hero rose up; having soothed and reassured those beings, he stood upon the great white mountain and, drawing his bow to the full, began to release a shower of arrows—acting with protective resolve after first calming the frightened.
