Shloka 11

Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father

so ’haṃ parvatavarṣeṇa vadhyamānaḥ punaḥ punaḥ | valmīka iva rājendra parvatopacito ’bhavam ||

Vāyu said: “Thus, O king, being struck again and again by a rain of mountains, I came to look like an anthill buried under heaps of rock. The episode underscores how even a mighty power can be forced into apparent helplessness by relentless assault, yet endurance and steadiness remain the ethical response in adversity.”
