यस्य सर्वे समारम्भा निराशीर्बन्धना: सदा | त्यागे यस्य हुतं सर्व स त्यागी स च बुद्धिमान्‌,जिसके सम्पूर्ण आयोजन कभी कामनाओंसे बाँधे हुए नहीं होते तथा जिसने त्यागकी आगमें अपना सर्वस्व होम दिया है वही त्यागी और बुद्धिमान्‌ है

yasya sarve samārambhā nirāśīrbandhanāḥ sadā | tyāge yasya hutaṃ sarvaṃ sa tyāgī sa ca buddhimān |

The hunter said: He is truly a renouncer—and truly wise—whose every undertaking is never bound by craving and expectation, and who has offered his entire self into the fire of relinquishment. Such a person acts without being chained by desire, and lives by the ethic of letting go.
