अग्निनाम-प्रादुर्भावः प्रायश्चित्त-विधानं च

Agni’s Epithets, Manifestations, and Expiation Procedures

सुहृद्धिवार्यमाणश्न पण्डितैश्व द्विजोत्तम

suhṛdbhī vāryamāṇaś ca paṇḍitaiś ca dvijottama

“O best of the twice-born, even when restrained and advised by well-wishing friends and by learned men…” (The hunter continues his instruction, implying that a person may still persist in a course of action despite counsel, and thus bears responsibility to choose dharma over stubborn impulse.)
