Vaiśampāyana said: “Practice all this through deed, thought, and speech. If you cast doubt upon my words, your dharma will be diminished. O ornament of the Bharata line, you are born in the renowned Kaurava clan; therefore uphold all these instructions with mind, voice, and action.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma must be upheld integrally—through thought, speech, and action. Doubting sound instruction and failing to embody it consistently leads to the weakening of one’s righteous path.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana delivers a direct admonition to a Kaurava-descended listener, urging faithful observance of the given counsel and warning that skepticism toward the guidance will result in a decline of dharma.
