Mārkaṇḍeya said: “The planets too will move in auspicious, rightward courses. Then there will be security and well-being; there will be plentiful food and prosperity; health will spread everywhere, and the land will become free from disease.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
When the cosmic order becomes favorable (symbolized by planets moving in auspicious courses), social order and human well-being follow—security, abundance, and health. The verse links ethical and cosmic harmony with the flourishing of life.
Mārkaṇḍeya is describing a future time of auspiciousness: celestial signs turn favorable, and as a result the world experiences peace, good harvests, and freedom from disease.
