Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration

द्विजातिपूर्वको लोक: क्रमेण प्रभविष्यति । ततः कालान्तरे<न्यस्मिन्‌ पुनर्लोकविवृद्धये,तदनन्तर कालान्तरमें सत्ययुगका आरम्भ होगा और फिर क्रमशः ब्राह्मण आदि वर्ण प्रकट होकर अपने प्रभावका विस्तार करेंगे। उस समय लोकके अभ्युदयके लिये पुनः अनायास दैव अनुकूल होगा। जब सूर्य, चन्द्रमा और बृहस्पति एक साथ पुष्य नक्षत्र एवं तदनुरूप एक राशि कर्कमें पदार्पण करेंगे, तब सत्ययुगका प्रारम्भ होगा। उस समय मेघ समयपर वर्षा करेगा। नक्षत्र शुभ एवं तेजस्वी हो जायँगे

dvijāti-pūrvako lokaḥ krameṇa prabhaviṣyati | tataḥ kālāntare 'nyasmin punar loka-vivṛddhaye |

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “In due order, the world will come forth again with the twice-born (the dharmic social order led by the Brahmins) appearing first. Then, after another interval of time, for the renewed increase and flourishing of the world, the cycle will turn again toward restoration.”
