गमिष्यामि महाप्राज्ञे रोचते मे वचस्तव । गाश्च मे दास्यते वैन्य: प्रभूतं चार्थसंचयम्‌,तथापि महाप्राज्ञे! मैं वहाँ अवश्य जाऊँगा, मुझे तुम्हारी बात ठीक जँचती है। राजा पृथु मुझे बहुत-सी गौएँ तो देंगे ही, पर्याप्त धन भी देंगे

Transliteration

gamiṣyāmi mahāprājñe rocate me vacas tava | gāś ca me dāsyate vainyaḥ prabhūtaṃ cārthasañcayam ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “I shall go, O great sage; your words please me and seem fitting. King Vainya (Pṛthu) will indeed grant me many cows, and also an ample store of wealth.”
