Educational Q&A

Worldly attainments—kingdoms, wealth, and pleasures—are secondary; the highest and enduring joy lies in cultivating and loving virtues such as generosity, truth, austerity, faith, discernment, forgiveness, and steadfastness.

Vaiśampāyana addresses a king and praises Pārtha (Arjuna), emphasizing that despite access to power and enjoyment, his consistent attachment is to ethical qualities rather than to possessions or pleasures.
