हाहाकृतमभूत्‌ सर्व वृष्ण्यन्धकबलं तत: । प्रद्ुम्ने मोहिते राजन्‌ परे च मुदिता भूशम्‌,राजन! प्रद्युम्मके मोहित होनेपर वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशकी सारी सेनामें हाहाकार मच गया और शत्रुलोग अत्यन्त प्रसन्नतासे खिल उठे

hāhākṛtam abhūt sarvaṁ vṛṣṇyandhakabalaṁ tataḥ | pradyumne mohite rājan pare ca muditā bhūśam ||

Vāyu said: “Then the entire army of the Vṛṣṇis and Andhakas was thrown into a tumult of cries and confusion. O King, when Pradyumna was deluded, the opposing side became exceedingly delighted.”
