माललिममन्नियोगात् त्वां त्रिदिवं प्रापयिष्यति । विदितस्त्वं हि देवानां मुनीनां च महात्मनाम्
mālalimamanniyogāt tvāṃ tridivaṃ prāpayiṣyati | viditastvaṃ hi devānāṃ munīnāṃ ca mahātmanām ||
Arjuna said: “By the appointment and command of Mālalimā, she will cause you to attain the heavenly world. For you are already well known among the gods and among the great-souled sages.”
अजुन उवाच
The verse emphasizes that rightful outcomes (such as attaining heaven) can follow from a legitimate injunction or divine appointment, and that true worth is recognized by the highest authorities—gods and great sages—implying moral and spiritual credibility.
Arjuna addresses someone, assuring them that, by Mālalimā’s directive, they will be led to heaven, and he supports this assurance by noting the person’s established reputation among the gods and eminent sages.
