Shloka 45
स मामभ्येत्य समरे तथैवाभिमुखं स्थितम् । शूलपाणिरथोवाच तुष्टोउस्मीति परंतप,इस प्रकार उमासहित साक्षात् भगवान् वृषभ-ध्वजका दर्शन हुआ। उन्होंने अपने अंगोंमें सर्प और हाथमें पिनाक धारण कर रखे थे। अनेक रूपधारी भगवान् शूलपाणि उस रणभूमिमें मेरे निकट आकर पूर्ववत् सामने खड़े हो गये और बोले--'परंतप! मैं तुमपर संतुष्ट हूँ"
sa mām abhyetya samare tathaivābhimukhaṁ sthitam | śūlapāṇir athovāca tuṣṭo ’smi iti parantapa ||
Then, in the midst of battle, Śūlapāṇi approached me as I stood facing him, just as before. Coming near and standing directly before me, he said, “O scorcher of foes, I am pleased with you.” The moment underscores that divine favor is granted not by mere force, but by steadfastness, courage, and disciplined intent in a righteous trial.
