Vaiśampāyana said: When Indra had departed as he had come, Arjuna—reunited with his brothers and with Draupadī—paid reverent homage to Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Dharma. The moment underscores the ethic that even after divine encounters and personal achievement, one returns to humility, family solidarity, and rightful respect for the elder and rightful leader.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even after receiving divine attention or achieving personal success, dharma requires humility and proper conduct—returning to one’s community, honoring rightful leadership, and maintaining fraternal harmony.
After Indra leaves, Arjuna reunites with his brothers and Draupadī and then respectfully salutes and honors Yudhiṣṭhira, marking a transition back from the divine episode to the family’s shared course of action.
