दमो दान बल बुद्धि्नीर्धतिस्तेज उत्तमम्‌ । एतान्यपि महासत्त्वे स्थितान्यमिततेजसि,अमित तेजस्वी और महान्‌ सत्त्वशाली अर्जुनमें दम (इन्द्रिय-संयम), दान, बल, बुद्धि, लज्जा, धैर्य तथा उत्तम तेज--ये सभी सदगुण विद्यमान हैं

Transliteration

damo dāna bala buddhir nīr-dhṛtis teja uttamam | etāny api mahāsattve sthitāny amit-tejasi |

Translation

Dhanada said: “Self-restraint, generosity, strength, intelligence, modesty, steadfast endurance, and supreme radiance—these virtues too are firmly established in Arjuna, who is of great spirit and of immeasurable splendor.”
