इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः

Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas

न च मन्युस्त्वया कार्यो भीमसेनस्य पाण्डव | कालेनैते हताः पूर्व निमित्तमनुजस्तव,'पाण्डुनन्दन! तुम्हें भीमसेनपर क्रोध नहीं करना चाहिये। ये यक्ष और राक्षस कालके द्वारा पहले ही मारे गये थे। तुम्हारे भाई तो इसमें निमित्तमात्र हुए हैं

na ca manyus tvayā kāryo bhīmasenasya pāṇḍava | kālenaitē hatāḥ pūrvaṁ nimittam anujas tava ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “O Pāṇḍava, you should not harbor anger toward Bhīmasena. These Yakṣas and Rākṣasas had already been destined to die by Time; your younger brother was only the instrument in that event.”
