इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः
Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
धौम्य: कृष्णा च विप्राश्व सर्वे च सुहददस्तथा । भीमसेनमपश्यन्त: सर्वे विममसो5भवन्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! उस समय उस पर्वतकी गुफा नाना प्रकारके शब्दोंसे प्रतिध्वनित हो रही थी। वह प्रतिध्वनि सुनकर अजातशत्रु कुन्तीकुमार युधिष्ठिर, दोनों माद्री-पुत्र नकुल-सहदेव, पुरोहित धौम्य, द्रौपदी और समस्त ब्राह्मण तथा सुहृद--ये सभी भीमसेनको न देखनेके कारण बहुत उदास हो गये
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dhaumyaḥ kṛṣṇā ca viprāś ca sarve ca suhṛdas tathā |
bhīmasenam apaśyantaḥ sarve vimamaso 'bhavan |
Vaiśampāyana said: Dhaumya, Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī), the brāhmaṇas, and all their well-wishers—seeing Bhīmasena nowhere—were all cast into deep dejection. The episode underscores the Pandavas’ mutual dependence and the ethical weight of companionship: the absence of a protector and pillar of strength becomes a collective sorrow, revealing their shared responsibility and concern for one another.
