Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain

तमापतत्तं वेगेन प्रभिन्नमिव वारणम्‌ | वत्सदन्तैस्त्रिभि: पाश्वे भीमसेन: समार्दयत्‌,मदकी धारा बहानेवाले गजराजकी भाँति मणिमानको बड़े वेगसे आता देख भीमसेनने वत्सदन्त नामक तीन बाणोंद्वारा उनकी पसलीमें प्रहार किया

tam āpatattaṁ vegena prabhinnam iva vāraṇam | vatsadantaiḥ tribhiḥ pārśve bhīmasenaḥ samārdayat ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Seeing Maṇimān rushing toward him at great speed—like a mighty elephant in musth—Bhīmasena struck him in the flank with three arrows called Vatsadanta, checking his onslaught in the heat of combat.
