Saubha-ākhyāna: Śālva’s Approach and the Fortification of Dvārakā (सौभाख्यानम्—द्वारकायाः सुरक्षाविधानम्)
ततो निर्याय कौरव्य अवस्थाप्य च तद् बलम् | आनर्तानां महाराज प्रद्युम्नो वाक्यमब्रवीत्,महाराज कुरुनन्दन! तब प्रद्युम्नने निकलकर आनर्तवासियोंकी उस सेनाको धीरज बँधाया और इस प्रकार कहा--
tato niryāya kauravya avasthāpya ca tad balam | ānartānāṁ mahārāja pradyumno vākyam abravīt ||
Then, stepping forth, O scion of the Kurus, Pradyumna halted that force and steadied the hearts of the Ānarta warriors. Addressing them with resolve, he spoke words meant to restore order and courage—an act of leadership that upholds dharma by preventing panic and guiding a host toward disciplined action.
