बभज्जतुर्महावक्षानूरुभिबलिनां वरौ । अन्योन्येनाभिसंरब्धौ परस्परवधैषिणौ,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ वे दोनों वीर अपनी जाँघोंके धक््केसे बड़े-बड़े वृक्षोंको तोड़ डालते थे और परस्पर कुपित हो एक-दूसरेको मार डालनेकी इच्छा रखते थे
babhajjatūr mahāvakṣān ūrubhir balināṁ varau | anyonyenābhisaṁrabdhau parasparavadhaiṣiṇau ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Those two heroes, the foremost among the strong, shattered great trees with the force of their thighs. Enraged against one another, each sought the other’s death—an image of wrath overpowering restraint and turning strength into a weapon of mutual destruction.
