ते सर्वे त्वरिता गत्वा ददृुशु: शुभकाननाम् | पद्मसौगन्धिकवतीं नलिनीं सुमनोरमाम्,उन सबने शीघ्रतापूर्वक जाकर सुन्दर वनस्थलीसे सुशोभित वह अत्यन्त मनोरम सरोवर देखा, जिसमें सौगन्धिक कमल थे
te sarve tvaritā gatvā dadṛśuḥ śubhakānanām | padmasaugandhikavatīṃ nalinīṃ sumanoramām ||
Vaiśampāyana said: They all hurried on and beheld a most delightful lotus-lake, fragrant with saugandhika lotuses, set amid a beautiful woodland. The scene underscores purposeful effort and shared resolve: when a group acts swiftly and together, they reach what is sought and encounter nature’s abundance without harm or conflict.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights purposeful, united action and attentive perception: by moving decisively together, one reaches the desired goal and encounters beauty without needless disruption—suggesting disciplined effort and respectful engagement with the natural world.
The group hastens forward and comes upon a charming lotus-lake in a lovely forest, notable for its fragrant saugandhika lotuses—an important discovery in the ongoing search for these rare flowers.
