Vaiśampāyana said: Bhīma, the destroyer of foes, roamed upon that auspicious mountain frequented by the Kinnaras. It was wondrously adorned—made variegated by many-hued minerals, by trees, by beasts, and by birds—so that the very landscape became a lesson in nature’s ordered beauty amid the hardships of exile.

Bhīma, described as a slayer of enemies, wanders on a beautiful mountain where Kinnaras dwell. The mountain’s scenery is depicted as richly varied with colored minerals, trees, wild animals, and birds.
