लोमश: सिद्धमार्गेण जगामानुपमझद्युति: । स्वेनैव स प्रभावेण द्वितीय इव भास्कर:,अनुपम तेजस्वी महर्षि लोमश अपने ही प्रभावसे दूसरे सूर्यकी भाँति सिद्धमार्ग अर्थात्‌ आकाशभमार्गसे चलने लगे

Transliteration

Lomaśaḥ siddhamārgeṇa jagāmānupamadyutiḥ | svenaiva sa prabhāveṇa dvitīya iva bhāskaraḥ ||

Translation

Ghaṭotkaca said: “The sage Lomaśa, of incomparable radiance, proceeded by the perfected path—moving through the sky itself. By the sheer force of his own spiritual power, he shone like a second sun.” This highlights the Mahābhārata’s ethic that inner discipline and tapas can elevate a person beyond ordinary limits, making spiritual attainment a source of guidance and protection in times of trial.
