Ghaṭotkaca said: “From its delicious fruits streams of honey continually flowed. That wondrous tree was ever attended by companies of great seers, and it was constantly filled with flocks of many kinds of birds—intoxicated, as it were, with delight.”

The verse presents an idealized sacred ecology: abundance (honey-flowing fruit) is naturally aligned with purity and restraint (the presence of great sages), and joy is depicted as non-violent, harmonious delight (birds rejoicing). It suggests that true prosperity is auspicious when it supports spiritual life rather than mere indulgence.
Ghaṭotkaca describes a marvelous, celestial-like tree whose fruits drip honey. Beneath it dwell assemblies of great sages, and the tree is alive with many kinds of birds, portrayed as exhilarated with happiness—emphasizing the sanctity and extraordinary nature of the place being described.
