Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)

तस्यास्तद्‌ वचन श्रुत्वा भगवानक्षर: प्रभु: | प्रोवाच वचन हद्ृष्ट: श्रव्याक्षरसमीरितम्‌,पृथ्वीका यह वचन सुनकर अविनाशी भगवान्‌ नारायणने प्रसन्न होकर श्रवणमधुर अक्षरोंसे युक्त मीठी वाणीमें कहा

tasyāstad vacanaṁ śrutvā bhagavān akṣaraḥ prabhuḥ | provāca vacanaṁ hṛṣṭaḥ śravyākṣara-samīritam ||

Hearing her words, the Blessed Lord—imperishable and sovereign—became pleased. Delighted, he then spoke in a sweet, melodious utterance, formed of syllables that were delightful to hear. The scene underscores an ethical ideal: sincere speech and right intention, when received by a self-controlled and benevolent authority, elicit a response marked by grace, restraint, and considerate communication.
